During the spring of 2012 I shot a number of foods for a cookbook which features traditional recipes of Brkini region in southern Slovenia. Some of these dishes go back countless generations and form an unparalleled cultural heritage that reflect values and life of our nation. Nothing was ever wasted. Even bread crumbs can be turned into a wedding cake. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to work on this project.
